First you need to download the music program Winamp. These instruction are for a computer running Windows OS.ġ. It's not perticularly useful to me, but maybe it can help some others.

I'm using Traktor Pro, (I have hardware, but would like to do this all software based if possible) would like to send that information to winamp so it is able to broadcast in Shoutcast, but I'm not sure how to do this, or what steps I need to take in order to accomplish this. It's not a good solution really, since you are losing on the sound quality, but since icecast is so poorly supported at this point it seems my only option. If anyone can give good step by step instuctions on how to setup Trakor to transfer the data to Winamp, and then use the Winamp for shoutcasting that would be awesome. Icecast is not widely supported, and I'd like to setup Traktor to stream using Shoutcast. If anyone can help, I'm new here and don't know how to post my own thread sorry. My specks, im using Traktor PRo 1.27, im on win7 64bit,( if any more specs are needed again remember i broadcast fine using mic and shoutcast with vdj) i want to mimic that for traktor just a simple way to set up traktor to broadcast to shoutcast?Ĭould use some help i have been searching for a long time.
Does anyone know how to set up a work around that is simple with out having to have icecast hosting too.

will NI ever update this ? or do i need to just give up on traktor as my main broadcasting /djing software?ģ. My hardware set up is fine its mostly software not sure how to go bout it and using winamp seems to not be working at all ( not sure if i have it set up right )Ģ. what is the Correct way to use trakor to stream to shoutcast to broadcast live sets to a net station. I currently am having to use VDJ to stream my sets via live on net radio, its sad that VDJ offers both icecast and shoutcast plus Mic.ġ. I do not want to buy a icecast hosting service, i have SHoutcast and im happy with it. Ok so, No Traktor isnt one of your cheaper djing software, however since it isnt i have come to find many forms on how to use shoutcast with Traktor, but none of them seem to work or the directions arent not clear enough.
